Floors specified around how your business, actually uses them

Essential Epoxy coats shops, showrooms, workshops, offices and storage areas across Sydney. Before quoting, we look at what crosses your floor each day: foot traffic, trolleys, pallet jacks, oil, wash-down chemicals and how often it gets cleaned. The system gets chosen from that, not from a brochure.

You get a written scope before anything is booked, including how the work is staged around your trading hours and when each area comes back into use.

    Where It Works

    Commercial spaces we coat

If you’ve already had a floor coated and watched it lift, peel or crack, it wasn’t bad luck. Across Camden, Campbelltown, Penrith and the Hills District, the same four failures come up again and again.

    Retail & showrooms

A floor customers walk on and judge. Gloss shows every mark under display lighting, so most showrooms get a mid-sheen finish instead.

    Workshops & service bays

Oil, brake fluid, coolant and dropped tools. A chemical-resistant topcoat means spills wipe up instead of staining the slab.

    Storerooms & small warehouses

Pallet jacks and trolleys wear a floor at the turning points first. Those areas get checked closely at the inspection.

    Offices & reception

Seamless and quiet to maintain, with no carpet to replace every few years. Usually done over a weekend.

    Gyms & studios

Dropped weights and constant cleaning. Flake hides scuffs better than a solid colour and adds grip when floors are mopped.

    Strata car parks & entries

Tyre marks, water tracked in from ramps, and shared access. Work is staged so residents can still get in and out.

    Frequently Asked Question

Yes, and for most retail and office sites it's the sensible option. Tell us your trading hours at the inspection and the program is built around them. After-hours work is priced in the quote rather than added later.

Usually not. Work is staged in zones so one area is being coated while the rest stays open. Grinding is noisy and dusty, though, so the active zone has to be closed off and clear.

Foot traffic returns well before heavy traffic. Full cure takes longer, and racking or pallet jacks going back too early is a common cause of damage in the first week. Your program gives the exact times for the system used.

Food preparation areas need a food-grade system with coved edges and the right slip rating, not a standard floor coating. Tell us what the space is used for and we'll say plainly whether it's within our scope or whether you need a specialist.

Tell us the rating before we quote. Wet slip resistance is classified P0 to P5 under AS 4586, and the requirement usually comes from an insurer, a franchise agreement or a building certifier. It changes the topcoat and the price, so it can't be added after the fact.
